Help!
While I am awaiting surgery, the pain doc is trying to make me as comfortable as he can. (Which is awesome). I got a scrip for Norco, which is basically twice the opiate in Vicoden and less acetaminophen. It is making me a ZOMBIE. Is there any way to combat the blobs, without resulting to becoming a meth user? It's ridiculous.

I have adjusted to being a zombie quite well, and am enjoying it. LOL!
10 more days till surgery and I CAN HARDLY WAIT -

Mon, January 5, 2009 - 6:38 PMOK so the plan is lumbar decompression with fusion and pedicle screw fixation from the pelvis to the bottom of my fusion mass of 13 vertebrae, this Thursday, 1/8/09. I hope to be indestructible and be able to run around the block by March. I also can't wait to get rid of the crushing vice-like feeling in my spinal cord and numbness in my left leg. WHEEEE!!!! -
